Time and Robots
By Christian Miller
The robot dashes; continually dashing, crashing thru dream and lore; sun and stars, moon and space.
Man wakes,
And time melts by.
Its metallic body sails across its concrete sea; steel feet bursting upon the asphalt shore as like a titanic wave.
Man falls,
And time speeds by.
As time rushes by, all that can be heard is
Save Humanity! Save from extinction!
Its pace speedsand man Screams.
And time rips by.
The sun begin to set, stars begin to fade; till all that is left is the cold, cold moon and the metallic rush of Mans so-called savior.
Man reaches out.
And Time stops.
Its worn feet slow as the Robots Silent, cold features watch as Gods hand lift man to the heavens saying
.And the weak shall inherit the earth
And Man was awed.
And Time ticks on.
